Message From Daddy Lion Chandell:
April 1, 2006

Greetings and Blessings, one and all in the name of The Most High JAH!

I have been through quite a bit over the last few months. There's a whole lot to tell and not too much time to tell it in. Roots Dynamic Sound is still running STRONG in the dance, on stage, and on the web.
Roots Dynamic is making its mark in Williamsburg at places like The Hook, where we played for The Scorchers (who had just released their new album) as well as myself and Treasure Don with the Jammyland All-Stars, not to mention Studio BPM, where Treasure Don and I are a staple at the Dubwise Sessions, presented by Bastard Jazz, you never know who you'll find there. In fact, Taj Weekes & Adowa performed a sweet set at Dubwise Sessions 4, a major success which just completed this past Saturday, March 18, 2006. Interestingly enough, on that same night at a high-powered rave deeper in the crust of Williamsburg, I was proud to perform and premieremy upcoming new track "Breaking Down The Barriers" from the upcoming album, "On All Frequencies" from the Subatomic Sound System.

All this after premiering "Roots Dynamic Radio" on WPS1.org, our first show of which was a memorial tribute of the legendary Brent Dowe of The Melodians, as well as highlighting the 2nd broadcast of WIBS from the 2006 IBS Radio Conference.

And if you haven't checked out the Roots Dynamic mixes from Halcyon The Shop, you don't know what you're missing. Mix #8 has premiered a few weeks ago, highlighting music from Empress Ayeola.
Dig the reviews!

Earplug declares:"Daddy Lion mans the sonic mortar and pestle to crush up a potent elixir of roots, rock, reggae, and the sweetest aural herbs..."

Blentwell states:"Classic Reggae jams to keep you sane in this messed up world. A great set of dub, reggae & roots thrown down by Daddy [Lion] Chandell..."
